Our story
Burger Boy opened on Quay Street in 2017 with one premise: do honest burgers properly, and do them late. We grind our own beef from accredited New Zealand farms, mix the Burger Boy spice in 20-litre batches every Tuesday, and proof brioche from a Mt Eden bakery for next-day service.
We're part of Good Group Hospitality, the Auckland-founded restaurant group that's been operating Kiwi dining venues since the early 2000s — so the kitchens have been audited for food-safety standards since long before we ever started flipping patties.
Every patty is from grass-fed New Zealand cattle. We don't blend imported trim, ever.
Twelve spices, mixed by our head chef in-house. Recipe unchanged since opening day.
From 6am pre-work coffee to 4am post-club fries — weekends are 24 hours straight.
